Prelude No. 1 - Villa Lobos - played by Warren Wickremesooriya

This recording of Prelude No. 1 composed by Villa Lobos was done by Warren Wickremesooriya in 1999 just prior to his departure to Australia to pursue further studies. Currently residing in Melbourne, having got a Bachelor's Degree in Music and Composition. His father Netaji Wickremesooriya was his teacher and instructor.

INSPIRATIONS - II


Yet another CD by Netaji Wickremesooriya introducing the adept  use of the Acoustic and Electric Guitar. A few Latin songs like "Guantanamera", "La Paloma", "Amore" and many originals applying his own style and variations are strikingly evident.
